two swedish design students came up with this idea 5 years ago and, after extensive design & testing, are going into production. right now they are taking pre-orders for spring 2011, selling for about $350 in swedish kronor... keep an eye out - this could take off and become affordable.
so far their website is only in swedish (thank goodness for google translator).
