In Manila's main thoroughfare, EDSA (Epifanio delos Santos Avenue), the Metro Manila Development Authority implemented something similar. Only public buses are allowed to drive within the two inner lanes. Only a few improvement has been achieved, if at any. The dozens of bus operators and their fleets of buses continue to clog the avenue. Good thing a train line also passes through the same road.
