-District 8 has seen a large increase in vehicle miles traveled in the last year.
-The 60/91 interchange in Riverside is complete, at a cost of $300 million.
-The 210 extension will cost $81 million.
-HOT lanes are on the way in Orange County. Two different sites, $1.5 billion each.
-HOT lanes in San Bernardino County as well. They are currently 5-10 years away.
-HOT lanes also proposed on the 110 and 10.

-Most of this money will come from the Federal stimulus package of the Obama administration.
